honeycut & peers approaches consulting and restructuring as a joint task between equals.
Honeycut describes an organizational shift or cut as well as the ability to preserve and extract the valuable substance at the core of each business. The German translation “Honigschnitt” is a traditional bee-keepers term for harvesting. We decided to establish a link to the healthcare sector by loosely referencing the brand to a US-TV series called M*A*S*H.
The anti-war satire was first aired in 1972 using a mobile army surgical hospital during the Korean war as backdrop. The two main characters BJ Hunnicutt and Benjamin Franklin Pierce battle with a lack of resources and the dysfunctional organization of the US-Army. Highly competent, inventive, and trusting their moral compass the two surgeons succeed in providing the best possible medical care even under dire circumstances.
